The HP (High Performance) range of films has been developed to achieve very high heat reduction in a non-reflective (mirrored) film. It achieves this high heat reduction by compromising slightly on visible light and on reflectivity. This film has been designed to block slightly more visible light than most people would find comfortable in a living area and it is slightly more reflective (black reflections not silver reflections) than most people would prefer. The HP films are intended to be used in west facing rooms (mainly bedrooms). The film can be used in conjunction with the Ambiance range of films that are intended for living areas requiring good natural lighting. |

HP15
Application: Smart Films HP15 film is very popular amongst homeowners with west facing windows, particularly bedroom windows. This film blocks 70% heat but only allows in 15% of the light, so it will make a room “feel” darker, although many homeowners are prepared to sacrifice some light in a bedroom during the day to achieve better heat protection. The HP 15 provides privacy but is slightly more reflective than the Ambiance range of films.
